We are offering 50 FREE places each day for local artists, producers, and programmers to connect, learn, and experience brilliant live performance.
You will get full FREE access to all shows and events, including group advice sessions led by industry experts and a first look at exciting new work. This includes a brand-new show from Michael Spicer, the creator of the viral, award-winning hit The Room Next Door.

South by South East Festival is a window into the wealth of performing arts creativity in Kent and Essex, including dance, drama, music and comedy performances and provides a showcase for new and exciting work by up-and-coming and established artists based in the county. Curated by 1DegreeEast in collaboration with Gulbenkian Arts Centre the Festival combines premieres, touring work, projects in development and new commissions.
